British Open Champion!
We are delighted to celebrate a fantastic achievement from Joshua, who competed at the British Open this weekend and won his K1 final, becoming a British Open K1 Champion!
Joshua trains with Hinckley Muay Thai and dedicates a huge amount of time and effort to his training. His commitment and hard work have certainly paid off, and it is wonderful to see his confidence continuing to grow.
A brilliant achievement, Joshua. Everyone at Redmoor Academy is incredibly proud of you!

Thank you to all of the families who made our Redmoor Academy 2026 Open Evening so special last week. It was a privilege to share how we deliver Excellence, Opportunity, and Success for All across our school community.
Here are a few highlights from the night:
Academic ambition: we shared how our proven track record of strong progress ensures every student is stretched to reach their full potential, no matter their starting point.
Curriculum offer: across every department, families experienced the depth and excitement of our ambitious and inclusive curriculum - from interactive science experiments to creative performing arts and ethics debates.
Seamless transition: we shared how we make the leap from primary to secondary feel safe and exciting, providing dedicated induction and pastoral care which is a 'strength of the school' - Ofsted 2026
Redmoor DNA: our amazing Student Ambassadors stole the show - showing off the resilience, respect, and responsibility that define our school every day.
World-class facilities: prospective students and their families explored our whole site, including our brand-new Science labs and multi-million-pound Sports Hall.
Beyond the classroom: families discovered our rich enrichment offer, from daily lunchtime and after school activities, to REC Week's exciting programme every June (see what our students are currently enjoying here)
Rest assured, if your child collected 12 or more stamps on their Redmoor Passport, we will be drawing our winners this week and some bookish prizes will be winging their way to primary school!
