On Monday 10th March, a group of talented students from Year 7 to Year 10 took part in the Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation Festival by performing their abridged version of Macbeth.
Set in a dystopian future, the students transported the audience to a magical world where the witches influenced every moment of the action and watched Macbeth's downfall unfold.
Performing at Curve was a special experience and the students really rose to the occasion, not missing a beat in their technical rehearsal and impressing the other schools and the audience in the evening show.
We are so grateful for everyone who came to support our performance, and particularly to the families of the cast who helped with costume and attending rehearsals. Miss Allcock said "I am so proud of all of the cast, they really were phenomenal. Also, a big thank you to Miss Williams for directing with me and Mrs Jenkins for your amazing support on the day of the performance."
