As another term draws to a close, today was a particularly special occasion for our Year 11 students as they spent their final day celebrating with friends, tutor groups and finally together, as a year group.

A huge thank you to Mrs Coleburne for organising such a fantastic celebration assembly and for managing to get through almost all of it without getting too emotional! Congratulations to all of our reward winners and those who received special mentions as well.

The traditional shirt signing in the sunshine was the perfect way to end the day, and we hope everyone enjoyed it!

We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved so far, but there is still more to come. With three compulsory days in school after half term and plenty of revision sessions still taking place in preparation for the remainder of your exams, keep working hard and don’t lose your motivation.

It was fantastic to be part of the Hinckley BID event at the weekend. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our school, it was wonderful to be involved in such a brilliant community event.

A huge well done to our steel pan players who took centre stage and were a huge hit with the crowd on Saturday!

We are also thrilled to announce that Redmoor Academy won the “People’s Choice Award” in the School Gardens competition! Congratulations to our eco warriors and Mrs Yates for all their hard work in preparing our wonderful ‘mealbarrow’.
