Redmoor has started a Peer Coaching programme to support the progress of KS3 students. The rationale behind this is to add an extra level of support to students who may be struggling with a variety of issues that can create barriers to their learning, such as friendships, subject difficulties, behaviour and aspirations. After completing a number of training sessions there are over 40 students in year 10 and 11 who have offered to give up their own time and take part. These have been assigned to students and coaching meetings are taking place on a weekly basis. A fantastic example of Redmoor students going the extra mile and being a part of our supportive school community.
