In a year like no other, Redmoor Academy is delighted to be celebrating the achievements of our Year 11 students.

No-one could have predicted the way in which this year group’s education would have ended at Redmoor. Yet, despite the fact they could not sit the exams they have worked so hard for, or had the usual end of Year 11 send off, our results day has provided them with the opportunity to celebrate their undoubted hard work and time as a Redmoor student.

Our continued assessment of their progress throughout their studies, indicated they are a year group that would have, without any doubt, achieved the best ever GCSE results in the history of Redmoor. We are immensely  proud of their effort, their commitment, their positive attitude and as a result, their achievements. Put simply, they are Redmoor students.

After a rigorous and thorough internal process, students have been awarded the grades they deserve based on the assessments, mock exams and judgements of their teachers and this means that all our students have been able to access Post 16 destinations.

There are too many to mention and we are proud of every single one of our students but notable performances include Charlotte Barnsley, Andrew Moores, Camara Ashley, Julian Taylor, Ben Scargill and Harry Kitto.

A special mention must go to Leah Mistry whose consistently outstanding effort and attitude resulted in her achieving nine Grade 9s – an achievement that puts her amongst the elite of every Year 11 student in the UK.
