We are holding an online Year 9 Progress Evening on Wednesday 4th November 2026 from 3.30pm until 7.30pm. This will take place on the SchoolCloud platform using video calls with your son/daughter’s subject teachers.
The appointments will provide you with an opportunity to discuss your child’s academic progress with their teachers, to celebrate successes and discuss any concerns. It is our hope that every child’s parent/carer attends , if at all possible, so that we can work together to help your child fulfil their learning potential. These appointments will also give you an opportunity to discuss how to support your child through the GCSE options process which starts after Christmas and finishes just before February half term. As part of this there will also be a dedicated Options Evening on Wednesday 20th January 2027, further details will be sent out about this nearer the time.
Appointment times with teachers need to be booked using the SchoolCloud system and can be booked via this link: https://redmooracademy.schoolcloud.co.uk.
Booking opens on Wednesday 14th October at 6pm, there will be instructions to follow on screen to make your appointments. If you experience any problems making these appointments please contact the school office.
On the day (Wednesday 4th November)
- Once logged in you will see a notice that you have upcoming video appointments and under this the details of the event, along with a Join Video Appointments button
- Press the button to join your appointment. From here you will be connected to each teacher automatically, one after the other, at the right time for each appointment
- Each consultation will last for 5 minutes and 40 seconds, with a clock showing how long is left. There will be a 20 second gap between each appointment.
