By being a Shakespeare School we have displayed a commitment to providing inspiring opportunities for our students, year after year for over 10 years, helping to keep creativity high on the agenda and support students to build crucial transferable skills for the future. Redmoor has also embedded personal development into our student experience through creative arts engagement. We have encouraged community engagement showcased the talents of young people, supported theatre and engaged new audiences.

The Gold schools are the most experienced and dedicated within the school network for Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation, with the teachers being a part of school network which newer schools and aspiring teacher-directors can learn from those dedicated teachers.

After a difficult year for the world and arts and the CSSF Festival having to be completed in many different ways across the country, we looked at how we could do a radio play, just using our voices and sound to create a dramatic ‘Macbeth’, other schools did film work with some even using interpretive dance. There are so many ways we can express what Shakespeare meant in his plays, whilst captivating a new audience with different styles and adaptations!

As well as a certificate from the managing director of Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation (CSSF), we will be displaying our badge with pride on the school website and letterheads, as well as the school being showcased on the CSSF website.

This year the Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation is offering an array of different options to be involved with, so keep an eye out for ways you could be involved in this exciting creative experience!
