We are holding an in school ‘Settling In’ Tutor Evening on the following dates from, 3:30pm – 6:30pm for all years.
Year 7 Tuesday 6th October
Year 8 and Year 9 Wednesday 7th October
Year 10 and Year 11 Thursday 8th October

This will provide you with an important opportunity to have a short meeting with your child’s form tutor to:
● Meet the tutor. It’s a great chance to get to know the person who guides your child every day.
● Celebrate successes. Hear about what your child is doing well, both in their studies and in their personal growth.
● Understand their progress. Find out how they’re doing academically and how you can support their learning at
home.
● Strengthen the partnership. By working together, we can provide the best possible support for your child to
succeed.
Your child’s tutor will discuss their “Settling In” report, which assesses their effort, attitude, and organisation in each subject. This report uses a grading scale from A to D, and any grade C or D will include a comment explaining the reason and outlining next steps for improvement. You will have an opportunity to speak with subject teachers later in the year. In the meantime, you can find a full staff email directory on the school’s website.
