We will be holding an online Year 8 Progress Evening on Wednesday 18th March 2026 from 3.30pm until 7.30pm. This will take place using video calls with your son/daughter’s subject teachers using the platform SchoolCloud. The appointments will provide an opportunity for you to discuss your child’s academic progress with their teachers, and we hope that every child’s parent/carer makes every effort to attend so that we are working together as a team to support your child with their learning. Joining us will allow you to have dedicated discussions with each subject teacher about the progress your child has made in secondary school this year and their achievements in the curriculum. You will also be able to discuss how you can best support your child through the remainder of Year 8 to build on the successful start so far.
Appointments need to be booked using the SchoolCloud system. Slots to meet with each teacher can be booked via this link, which you will also find here: https://redmooracademy.schoolcloud.co.uk
- Booking opens on Wednesday, 4th March at 7am and there will be instructions to follow on screen to make your appointments. You must use your details stored on our school system to access this.
- On the day (Wednesday 18th March), once logged in, you will see a notice that you have upcoming video appointments and under this, the details of the event, along with a Join Video Appointments button. If you require more assistance with logging in and booking, please see the video here.
- Press the button to join your appointment. From here, you will be connected to each teacher automatically, one after the other, at the right time for each appointment.
- Each consultation will last for 5 minutes and 40 seconds, with a clock showing how much time is left. There will be a 20-second gap between each appointment.
