GCSE Results 2019

9th September 2019realsmart admin

Congratulations to all of our students who have received their GCSE exam results. We are delighted with their achievements which are based on a great deal of hard work and commitment from students and their teachers. These results will allow our students to access the next stage of their education. Once again, Redmoor students have excelled at achieving the top grades with over 40 Grade 9/A*s recorded and standards have risen across all subjects.

Whilst we are hugely proud of all our students, there are some who have made outstanding progress or achieved the highest grades possible.

These include; Emily, Matt, Georgia, Leo, Anna, Francesca, Archie, Katie, Leva, Jamie, Charlotte, Jess, Millie, Elysia, George, Lucy, Yasmin, Sophie, Adam, Alisha, Mary, Emma and Amelia.

Well done Year 11!

Official certificates for GCSE qualifications are sent through to schools throughout November. There will then be a Certificate and Achievement Evening in early December, to which our ‘Class of 2019’ students and their families will be formally invited in order to be awarded their certificates. We do hope as many can make it as possible. The date will be confirmed in the Autumn.

We are excited for our annual REC programme next week, providing our students with a fantastic range of opportunities beyond the classroom.

Our KS3 students will be taking part in a variety of enrichment activities, including residential visits abroad, residentials within the UK and a wide range of school-based activities and day trips.

This is an amazing opportunity for all our students to develop new skills, build confidence and resilience, gain valuable experiences and create lasting memories!

We will do our best to keep our Facebook page updated throughout the week with photos and highlights from the many activities taking place. But please bear with our staff, they will be busy supporting students and making these experiences as rewarding as possible.

At the same time, our Year 10 students will be embarking on their work experience placements, spending the week in professional environments linked to their interests and future aspirations. We wish them luck with this invaluable experience outside of Redmoor.

We can’t wait to see what all of our students achieve during this exciting week!

Redmoor Eco Club Needs Your Support!

Our Eco Club students have been working hard all year growing vegetables, herbs and flowers from seed and creating their very own Mealbarrow entry for the Leicester Mealbarrow Extravaganza.

Their theme this year is “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, promoting healthy eating, growing your own food and the importance of looking after our environment. The students have put a huge amount of effort into every part of the project and are incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved.

If you’re free on Saturday 4th July, we’d love you to come along, see their fantastic creation and cast your vote!

📅 Saturday 4th July 2026
⏰ 11am – 3pm
📍 Abbey Pumping Station Museum, Leicester, LE4 5PX
