Redmoor Academy are pleased to announce the launch of their Redmoor Enrichment Course (REC) for 2026!

Staff have been busy over the recent months planning a variety of trips and experiences for our REC programme which is taking place 15th-19th June 2026. As always we have listened to the feedback of both parents, students and staff over the last year and we are pleased to offer an extensive selection of experiences, with both abroad and UK based residentials, alongside the day trips and more school based options. We believe this programme of choices will build confidence, resilience and independence in our students and is unique to Redmoor in the breadth and quality of what is offered.

Take a look at what is on offer in the REC 2026 booklet here!

Choosing from our offer of 23 different programmes, students need to have completed the electronic Google form with their 3 options (in no ranked order) by no later than Friday 7th November 2025.  This form has been emailed to your child’s Redmoor email address.

Please take the time to carefully read what is on offer, talk through the options with your child and encourage them to “try something new”. We ask that students select 3 courses that they would be interested in doing and we will then endeavour to allocate every student with 1 of their 3 options. The options are not ranked; therefore it is important that students want to experience all 3 of their choices. If students are interested in a residential experience, we are asking students to choose a maximum of two residential plus one non-residential trip. If a student chooses 1 or 2 residential options, a deposit of £150 must be paid (excluding Bugs & Bushcraft) that can be used against whichever trip is allocated, the details of this are included in the booklet. They can, of course, choose all non residential as well.

Please read carefully our terms and conditions at the back of the booklet.

Although we have made every effort to ensure that the pricing of trips is as accurate as possible, they may be subject to change due to factors outside of our control. Parents will be notified as soon as possible if there are any changes.

Whilst all of the options incur a cost, please note that all Pupil Premium students will be entitled to a £50 subsidy towards the total cost of the trip which will automatically be allocated. As 6 of the options are £50, then these trips would be free of charge to all PP students.

In certain circumstances, Redmoor Academy may be able to help students financially. In the first instance, please raise an enquiry with your child’s Year Manager, who will then discuss with Mr Nicolle.

We are really looking forward to once again providing our students with a variety of opportunities to experience and enjoy as part of their holistic development.

Kind regards

The REC Team
