Do you think you could have been on The Great British Bake Off this year? Then show us your skills at our Macmillan bake sale which will be taking place on Thursday 6th September. All students that bake a cake will receive house points for acts of kindness and there will be a competition for the best bakes in KS3 and KS4!
Our thoughts and condolences are with The Royal Family following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. We will be closed on Monday 19th September to observe the funeral of Her Majesty.
At the start of term, our students had the fantastic opportunity to see, photograph and even hold the Rugby Premier League trophy which was kindly brought in to Redmoor by a member of the Tigers Team, Mollie. The atmosphere that morning was brilliant, with plenty of students (and teachers!) eager to have the chance to strike a pose!
Redmoor Academy is proud to celebrate the achievements of its students in their GCSE examinations. After experiencing 3 years of disrupted education due to the pandemic, the “Class of 2022” have achieved the highest results in the history of Redmoor.
To achieve this, students have demonstrated incredible resilience, commitment and dedication in their studies, exemplifying our Redmoor DNA through their effort and attitude. We are very proud of them individually and as a year group. These results have enabled our students to progress to a variety of Post 16 destinations to continue their educational journey.
Many students achieved multiple Grade 9s which places them amongst the highest achieving students nationally while others have made phenomenal progress from their starting point. Whilst there are too many to mention, notable performances include; Sam Beddard, Alexis Ford, Ruby Robinson, Ben Sherry, Talia Sumpter, Daria Bichimulska, Sophie Traynor, Freya Harvey, Millie Huckle, Sophie Kerr and Izzy Cropper.
We wish all our students the very best for their futures, which are bright and full of potential and possibility.

After the disruption of the last two years, we were really looking forward to providing our students with a variety of opportunities to experience and enjoy. Building confidence, resilience and independence, whilst having fun and trying new things, it really was a week to remember!
