Redmoor Academy are pleased to announce the launch of their Redmoor Enrichment Course (REC) for 2024!

Staff have been busy over the summer months planning a variety of trips and experiences for our REC programme which is taking place 17th – 21st June 2024. We have listened to the suggestions of both parents and students over the last year and with the lessening of the covid restrictions we are pleased to offer an extensive selection of experiences, with more abroad options and further UK based residentials, alongside the day trips and more school based options. We believe this programme of choices will build confidence, resilience and independence in our students and is unique to Redmoor in the breadth and quality of what is offered.

Take a look at what is on offer here!

Choosing from our offer of 18 different programmes, students need to have completed the electronic Google form with their 3 options (in no ranked order) by no later than Friday 3rd November 2023.  This form has been emailed to your child’s Redmoor email address and our assembly slides can be found here.

We have launched this with the students in an assembly today. Please take the time to carefully read what is on offer, talk through the options with your child and encourage them to “try something new”. We ask that students select 3 courses that they would be interested in doing and we will then endeavour to allocate every student with 1 of these 3 options. The options are not ranked; therefore it is important that students want to experience all 3 of their options. If students are interested in a residential experience, we are asking students to choose a maximum of two residential plus one non-residential trip. All residential trips require an initial deposit to be considered for the trip, the details of this are included in the booklet. They can, of course, choose all non residential as well.

Please read carefully our terms and conditions at the back of the booklet.

Although we have made every effort to ensure that the pricing of trips are as accurate as possible, they may be subject to change due to factors outside of our control. Parents will be notified as soon as possible if there are any changes. Pupil Premium students will be entitled to a £50 subsidy towards the total cost of the trip; this will automatically be allocated.

Anyone wishing to seek financial assistance must apply in writing in the first instance to Mrs Sulley, Business Manager.

We are really looking forward to once again providing our students with a variety of opportunities to experience and enjoy as part of their holistic development.
